Appointed to the position in April 2011, Phil is responsible for Sales, Service and Field Marketing for the United States and Canada. With over 25 years global experience of Sales, Marketing and General Management in technology, predominantly in the unified communications industry, Phil is responsible for the strategy and execution of Mitel’s go to market in the North American theatre.

Prior to joining Mitel, Phil held senior positions at Nortel and Polycom. At Nortel he was responsible for establishing their Telepresence and Multimedia services business. During his decade long tenure at Polycom he was member of the executive management team where he held a variety of positions including Senior VP Strategy and Solutions Marketing, Senior VP Worldwide Sales, and Senior VP and General Manager for their Network Systems Division.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Cardiff University, where he graduated with honors.
