Customer Success Story: The Louvre-Lens

"We are particularly satisfied with the solutions deployed within the museum by Mitel and its partner Cofely Ineo. We have gained fluidity, efficiency and can now operate in a secure, robust and scalable environment.” Eric Cassou-Ribehart, IT manager at the Louvre-Lens Museum

Opened in late 2012, the Louvre-Lens Museum is a branch of the iconic Louvre gallery, located approximately 200 km north of Paris. The Museum wanted to be equipped with the most recent technological innovations and to be ready to respond to new uses of technology both today and tomorrow.

Mitel was able to help the museum with service quality, visitors greeting services, mobility of employees and visitors as well as respect for the design of the building, providing innovative tools, mobility solutions together with a reliable and scalable infrastructure. Benefits of the Louvre-Lens Museum implementing MiVoice 5000 and mobility solutions such as SIP DECT and Wi-Fi have included:

    • Optimized user experience
    • Better collaboration and information sharing between the museum’s employees
    • Simplified management for the IT department

“The success of this deployment makes us consider extending the mobility services through Wi-Fi and DECT coverage to another part of our site. We are also studying the possibility of using Mitel to deploy Unified Messaging, a tool that is in high demand from our mobile workforce, as well as deploying a contact center to further enhance the overall customer relationship experience,” concludes Eric Cassou-Ribehart
