Customer Success Story: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Elton John, and Billy Joel are just a handful of performers whom have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, which is located on the shore of Lake Erie in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Next week is the annual induction ceremony where musicians including KISS, Nirvana, and Peter Gabriel will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
In 2012 the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum wanted to induct a new business communications system. Because the museum is open 365 days a year and has about a half million visitors a year they handle a lot of phone calls. While they considered other solutions from AT&T, Avaya and ShoreTel these just didn’t offer the service quality, price, reliability and redundancy they wanted. In fact, Mitel was the only company that was able to give a full demonstration of all features and applications and present it in a way that could be understood easily. In addition, Mitel has a very strong customer focus and is a technology leader with their unified communications and mobility solutions.
Since becoming a Mitel fan in 2012, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has seen many benefits including:
- Ability to do move/adds/changes faster without requiring extra staff
- Lowered annual operating cost
- Quick return on investment
- Reliability to handle calls 365 days a year
“The three reasons that we really wanted to switch to Mitel was the reliability, the redundancy, and the quality of service – you just couldn’t beat it.” – Marcus Brown, Director of IT, Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame
