Mitel is once again attending the VMware Partner Exchange 2013, February 25-28 at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, and will be showcasing the latest advances in real-time virtualized UCC solutions.

VMware Partner Exchange brings together representatives from VMware’s global partner ecosystems that are passionate about virtualization and cloud infrastructure.

The following demos will be available on the Mitel Booth #705:

• Horizon Mobile
  Mitel is the only UC vendor running an application on VMware’s latest Horizon technology. Horizon Mobile, a pre-GA technology currently in development, is virtualization on a mobile device – drop by and see Mitel’s Unified Communicator Advanced® (UCA) running on a Horizon Mobile Android smart phone.
• Virtual Desktop - vUCA Softphone
  Mitel was the first UC vendor to offer integration between VMware’s leading desktop virtualization solution, VMware View™5, and Mitel UCA bringing rich, consistent, high performance UC solutions to the virtual desktop.
• Virtual Contact Center - vCCS Softphone
  Mitel is the first vendor to provide an integration with VMware View to provide the Mitel vCCS softphone fully integrated with a virtual desktop. This solution provides contact center managers the ability to give contact center employees the tools they need to enhance productivity and efficiencies immediately.
• Virtual Desktop – UCC and Video
  Mitel will demonstrate a 3-way integration between VMware® View™5, Mitel vUCA and VidyoConferencing™ software that integrates UC and video capabilities into a virtual desktop environment. This demo will be on both the Mitel and Vidyo booths (#707).
• Zimbra Click-to-Call Integration
  VMware’s email and calendar application is integrated with Mitel vUCA. Within Zimbra, Mitel enables you to click-to-call, and view call history and visual voicemail.
• vMotion of vMCD
  Using VMware vMotion, we will show a live migration of Mitel’s call control (vMCD) from one physical server to another while a call is in progress with zero downtime, no dropping or any disruption in quality and/or service.

Mitel will also be recognized in a number of breakout sessions for our advances in bringing simple and flexible unified communications and collaboration solutions in a virtual environment to market.
