Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW), a global leader in business communications, has named Bob Agnes Executive Vice President & General Manager of Mitel'sAsia Pacific (APAC) operations. Within this role, Agnes will continue to strengthen the company's regional leadership and expand Mitel market share in this key geography. He will be based in Hong Kong.

With more than 30 years of experience, Agnes has managed regional teams around the world, with a strong focus on Asia Pacific. He has led operations for several mobile technology and equipment manufacturing companies with a focus on growth. As VP of Tektronix in Shanghai, for example, he helped his company grow market share in China with a sharp focus on promoting core competencies and empowering a successful sales team.
