Mitel Appoints Tim Gaines Vice President of Sales for the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America

Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW), a leading provider of cloud and premises-based unified communications software solutions, has tapped industry veteran Tim Gaines to lead the company's sales team in the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America. Gaines is the latest addition to the Americas sales leadership team, which Mitel continues to grow under Joe Vitalone, executive vice president of sales for the Americas.

A seasoned executive sales leader, Gaines has held senior management positions at several companies including ShoreTel, where for the last six years he was the Western regional vice president of sales and most recently the vice president of sales North America. Prior to that, Tim was vice president of sales at Covad Communications (now MegaPath), and general manager for a U.S. subsidiary of Fujitsu.
