MSA Membership for Commercial Developers and Service Providers
Which Mitel vendors, developers, systems integrators and solution providers should consider joining the Mitel Solutions Alliance?
Maintaining close ongoing and mutually beneficial relationships with our third-party partners (3PPs) is an essential element of Mitel’s Freedom architecture.
Through membership in the MSA program, Mitel builds alliances with those 3PPs that share and complement our Mitel Freedom market vision, and can help us implement it rapidly and successfully. By joining MSA, 3PP members gain access to the Mitel development tools, support, test resources, and marketing channels needed to deliver quality integrated solutions to the Mitel customer marketplace.
A primary purpose of the MSA program is to facilitate expansion of our 3PP product and application portfolio through MSA membership, specifically to enhance the value of core Mitel business communications products for our customers.
Who are 3PP vendor-partners and solution providers?
- Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Product and Solution Vendors. Partners using Mitel APIs and interfaces to develop their products, including integrations between partner products and Mitel products.
- Interop Partners. Partners using Mitel interfaces, protocol documentation, and test resources to test and certify interoperability between their products and Mitel products, e.g., for SIP interoperability.
- VARs, Custom Solutions Providers, and Systems Integrators. Partners using Mitel APIs and interfaces to develop custom applications and carry out systems integration for Mitel customers. This category includes dedicated service companies as well as Mitel resellers that do integration work.
- Strategic/OEM Partners. These relationships are managed through the Mitel StrategicPartners group. MSA supports these efforts by facilitating the necessary API fulfillment and developer support to ensure that strategic and OEM relationships are productive and efficient.
