Mitel’s converged Video and Voicemail solution enables operators to offer innovative and premium services, such as Videomail and Visual Voice Mail (VVM), while consolidating legacy Voicemail service onto a single next generation and fully virtualized software platform. Mitel’s Video/Voicemail solution provides an essential call completion service as operators launch Voice over LTE and introduce new video calling and conferencing services.
Mitel Video and Voicemail solution provides full call completion services, i.e. full reproduction of existing voicemail services or introduction of new premium services, providing multi-device synchronization with persistent, long-term message storage. All messages are stored and synced with network wide storage based on Mitel’s mStore™, allowing a consistent experience between Videomail, Voicemail and Rich Communication Services (RCS) messaging.
Visual Voicemail provides subscribers with the ability to receive their voicemails directly as audio clips on their handsets, and with the addition of videomail, they will also be able to access their video messages from the same inbox.
Mitel’s Video and Voicemail solution is fully virtualized and based on the mOne® Convergence Platform. The solution can be deployed as part of an IMS-based Voice over LTE (VoLTE) network, or as a standalone solution for voicemail replacement in legacy networks, and an eventual seamless upgrade to IMS.
