Marcus Hänsel is a highly accomplished technology leader known for his regional and global transformation successes. As Chief Sales Officer, Marcus oversees Mitel’s sales and services organization worldwide, bringing a leadership style that emphasizes team building and a commitment to achieving results. 

With extensive experience in communication technology, he's held management roles at top firms including Atos Unify, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, and ICT systems integrator Ostertag DeTeWe. Notably, in Atos Unify and as CEO, he achieved three consecutive years of growth in a challenging economic climate, showcasing his ability to thrive in adverse conditions.
 
Marcus’ career began in Alcatel Group's internal IT service provider, where he held various IT roles, including Head of IT Governance for DACH and Eastern Europe. He played a crucial role in Alcatel-Lucent's transformation into a leading global telecom and network equipment supplier. His dedication and expertise led to key responsibilities, including sales management, and eventually becoming Vice President Enterprise for the German region. After Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's spin-off in 2014, he became Vice President DACH and Managing Director Germany. Later, he excelled as Managing Director at Ostertag DeTeWe and led Atos Unify in Central Europe from November 2020 to February 2022 when he became CEO.
