It has been part of the International Group, TUI Travel plc since 2007, and Hotelbeds has over 45,000 hotels in 147 countries on its books, employs 6,000 people worldwide and sells more than 14 million overnight stays each year. Thanks to its constant updating of technology and continuous adaptation of ITC, Hotelbeds has been able to put into practice a business model with a strong online presence, producing an annual business growth of over 20%. In 2011 the company invoiced more than €1.2 b.
The company has invested in Europe, America and Asia, and focuses on emerging markets with high growth potential. With such a robust geographical expansion plan Hotelbeds required a solid communications network that would guarantee capacity, fluidity and scalability of its platforms and applications and of course to assist in providing a superior customer service.
