Our customer base continues to grow and evolve over time.
One interesting observation – more of our newer customers are in states such as Illinois, Texas, Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Because we’re in the West Coast, traditionally our customers have come from closer to home (ie. California). Whilst California still constitutes a large percentage of our new customers, it isn’t as pronounced as it used to be.
A strong reason for this is that our many marketing and branding efforts have increased the ShoreTel brand recognition and awareness to other non-West coast states. A similar analysis at the MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area) level confirms this shift – the Chicago, Dallas, Detroit and St Louis MSA’s are home to our recent customers.
