Today we’re excited to share the news that the NFL team Buffalo Bills has selected and installed a ShoreTel unified communications system to improve staff productivity and fan satisfaction. The Bills are the second NFL team to use ShoreTel technology to win on and off the playing field, joining an impressive roster of sports customers including six professional basketball, four professional baseball, and two professional hockey teams.
With the guidance of ShoreTel channel partner PremCom, the Buffalo Bills selected ShoreTel as part of the recent stadium renovation for its ease of use and installation, and the system’s ability to grow with the organization. ShoreTel is now running on 400 phones at the Ralph Wilson Stadium and the ADPRO Sports Training Center, and the Buffalo Bills are also using ShoreTel Enterprise Contact Center for their call centers along with ShoreTel Mobility.
Overall the Buffalo Bills have reduced their monthly communications costs, as well as IT footprint and power consumption. Productivity has improved in the ticket office, and general office users are loving the system, especially being able to customize their ShoreTel phone, speed dials and more without IT support.
The Bills also rely on ShoreTel technology for on-the-field communication on game days, since the phones on the field communications cart are part of the ShoreTel system. Phones can also be quickly provisioned to visiting team staff and TV crews at the location of their choice.
