ShoreTel’s Champion Partner Program Offers Greater Rewards

    In a world where complexity often reigns, ShoreTel long ago made a commitment to simplicity. We’re constantly seeking ways to streamline not only our products, but our business, too. That’s why we’ve enhanced and simplified our award-winning partner program.

    Our new Champion Partner Program empowers our channel partners in several ways. It’s driven by a points-based system with one annual target, which rewards partners for the value they deliver to their clients. With this change, we’ve streamlined our approach by merging cloud and onsite partner tracks into one program and consolidating 11 tiers into four. In addition, channel partners now have the opportunity to be more involved in the delivery of cloud services.

    This is great news for our more than 1,000 channel partners around the world, half of whom are already selling our fast-growing cloud communication services. The new program is notable not only for its simplicity, but also in the empowerment it offers. Our partners now have the flexibility to determine what to sell based on customer needs, and they’re rewarded no matter which deployment model the customer selects.

    Here are the new program’s highlights:

    Points-Based System

    Partners earn points that are applied toward a single annual target, regardless of the solution type they provide. They can achieve their commitments through a combination of cloud, onsite and hybrid sales and ShoreTel Connect™ training.

    Delivery of Cloud Services

    Under the program, channel partners have an expanded role in the delivery of cloud services. By taking advantage of functionality in ShoreTel Connect – the new common platform for onsite, cloud and hybrid deployments – partners can participate in the implementation and support of their cloud customers and create incremental business opportunities for partner-provided value-added services.

    Partner-Branded Billing

    The program also allows partner names to appear on ShoreTel Connect CLOUD bills, which will help reinforce and promote their brands.

    Cloud Implementation Academy

    We know that training is critical to our partners’ success. Our new modular training, based on ShoreTel Connect, will drive higher competency with less resource investment. By taking advantage of our newly created Cloud Implementation Academy, partners will learn how to participate in – and monetize – the delivery of cloud services. This collection of courses is offered at no charge.

    Points for Training

    Finally, partners who participate in certification training above minimum requirements can earn points toward their tier targets.
