The 100th solution has been validated in the ShoreTel Innovation Network.

It’s been five months since we introduced the new and improved Innovation Network – providing a unique way to introduce third-party solutions to ShoreTel's growing group of reseller partners and end-users – through the combination of our developer network and the Technology Partner Program.

So how are things continuing to progress?

The Innovation Network is made up of three levels - Foundation, Alliance and Strategic. At the Foundation level we have had well over 340 companies participate as developers. And, in the past five months we've already seen 76 new applicants to join as Foundation members – representing an almost 300% increase quarter-over-quarter.

At the Alliance level we have 100 Validated solutions from 75 companies. In the past five months at the Alliance level, we have seen a growth rate of Alliance member validated solutions at approximately 30% year-over-year. Some of the companies whose solutions we have recently validated include: Dialogic, Oak Telecom, Polycom, Syn-Apps. (You may remember some of them from the ShoreTel Innovation Center at this year’s Champion Partner Conference.)

ShoreTel’s IP phone system with integrated Unified Communications is based on an open architecture. Open APIs provide the flexibility for businesses to integrate customized business apps that suit each company’s individual needs.

And what was our centuriate solution? CVT’s Periscope NextGen ITEMS expense management system. Headquartered in Australia, CVT is a leader in the delivering business process applications to the APAC region and beyond. Leveraging ShoreTel’s CDR records, CVT is able to deliver customers a rich set of Call Accounting and reporting features.

What kind of third-party apps are you looking to integrate into your system? Do you have a great idea for an app that would benefit other businesses? Learn more about what we offer and how to join on the Innovation Network site.

Digital transformation has become a top initiative for business and IT leaders. In today’s business world, sustainable market leadership is no longer based solely on which company has the best products or even the best people. Instead, organizations that are agile and can quickly adapt to rapidly evolving market trends will become market leaders.
