We Have Touch Down - ShoreTel Great Rewards 2016!

    Throughout the year ShoreTel ran its annual partner loyalty program, Great Rewards 2016, to acknowledge partners across Asia Pacific for sales and achievements. Quarterly prize winners received gift vouchers for strong results selling ShoreTel solutions, and 12 major end-of-year prize winners won a trip to the ShoreTelOne Partner Conference in Orland, Florida, as well as an exclusive day trip to the NASA facilities at Cape Canaveral.

    On Monday 5 December, ShoreTel hosted the 12 winning APAC partners at the Kennedy Space Center on a private tour with former NASA astronaut, Jon A. McBride. The lucky winners had a private tour of the NASA facilities and heard real-world experiences of McBride’s time as pilot for the STS-41-G space mission, the 13th flight of NASA's Space Shuttle program and the sixth flight of Space Shuttle Challenger which launched on October 5, 1984

    This true ‘out of this world’ adventure included an Astronaut Training Experience on authentic mission simulators like the Multi-Axis Trainer and the Micro-Gravity Wall, and a real space shuttle mission simulation within a full-scale, realistically outfitted mission control mock-up. 

    Steve Haesler, Technical Consultant from Viatek who won a place for ‘Highest Year-on-Year Growth for existing partner in Australia’ said, “It’s been an honour to travel with the ShoreTel team to the U.S. to meet an experienced astronaut (you don’t say that every day!) and explore the Kennedy Space Station. It was an unforgettable opportunity to ride on the space shuttle mission simulator, and be part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience with all the major prize winners. Being acknowledged for our performance throughout the year by a vendor motivates us to continue to achieve strong results and ShoreTel has certainly rewarded our efforts in a meteoric way!”
