Richard Roberts

Senior Vice President, International Sales

In his role as Senior Vice President, International Sales, Richard leads Mitel’s business for the International region, which encompasses both EMEA and APAC markets. He and his team work alongside Mitel’s growing international partner community to ensure our customers receive world-class customer lifecycle management and support in the pursuit of modernizing their unified communications capabilities.

Roberts joined Mitel in 2016 after leading EMEA Sales and Worldwide Channels business for Purple, a customer experience innovator. Prior to Purple, he held various senior leadership roles at Cisco Systems including the management of Cisco’s UK & Ireland Channel business and leading its European Specialist Technology Sales Division. While at Cisco, Roberts grew the company’s UK Distributed Government and Commercial Customer segments, through the creation and development of profitable and sustainable partnerships, driving significant and consistent growth across Cisco UK & Ireland’s largest customer segment.

Roberts has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nottingham and a diploma in Applied Psychology (Human Computer Interaction).
