Mitel VoLTE Solution Wins 'Most Innovative LTE Application/Service' Award

Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW), a global leader in real-time business, cloud and mobile communications, won the "Most Innovative LTE Application/Service" award for its VoLTE solution during the LTE Asia 2015 event held in Singapore as part of the LTE World Series.
 
Having played a critical role in the world's first VoLTE launch with T-Mobile US, Mitel continues to attract leading mobile operators seeking to leverage 4G LTE technology to fuel new services and new user experiences. Mitel also supported the T-Mobile US VoWiFi launch—the first of its kind in North America—and similar first-to-market WiFi calling services in Europe and Australia.
 
As mobile operators face intense competition from disruptive market players and over-the-top application services, Mitel's software-only VoLTE solution allows rapid deployment optimized for driving continuous service innovation and new revenue opportunities. The solution also supports multi-device service delivery giving operators the ability to offer a richer suite of integrated IP services across all access points and devices, regardless of access network technology.
 
In addition to this year's LTE Asia award, Mitel previously earned recognition at the LTE Asia 2014 event where its RCS based on NFV solution won "NFV Innovation of the Year."
