Awards Update: Mitel Products, Programs, and People Honors Off to Strong Start

2023 has been a big year for Mitel, not just because it’s our 50th anniversary. Since the start of the year, we’ve been honored with multiple awards from several prestigious organizations thanks to our industry-leading unified communications and collaboration technology and exceptional leadership.


Mitel is grateful to be recognized by leaders in the communications industry for our achievements. We’re incredibly proud of the talent of our people, the reputation of our products, and the quality of our partners.


Here’s a look at the awards and recognitions Mitel has received so far this year.


Innovative Solutions


Since its founding in 1973, Mitel products have revolutionized telecommunications. This year, several solutions were recognized for their innovation in empowering remote, hybrid, and distributed work around the globe.


Business Phone System of the Year


The new Mitel 6900w IP phone series won the Business Phone System of the Year award, making 2023 the fourth year in a row a Mitel solution has won in the category. The RemoteTech Breakthrough Awards represents a comprehensive evaluation of the top companies, solutions, and products in the remote and hybrid work industry, which this year attracted more than 1,250 nominations from 15 countries.


2023 Unified Communications Product of the Year


The 6900W IP phone series was also selected as a 2023 Unified Communications Product of the Year award winner by TMC and INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine. The products chosen for the award are distinguished by world-class functionality, flexibility, and mobility in the modern workplace.


Top Team Collaboration Solution


Mitel’s all-in-one collaboration platform, MiCollab, was named a Top Team Collaboration Solution by Compass Intelligence as part of its 11th Annual CompassIntel Awards. Industry journalists, leaders, and analysts selected the solution because it gives employees the essential tools to connect and collaborate wherever they work.


2023 Contact Center Technology Award


MiContact Center Business, which engages customers and employees with an omnichannel customer experience management platform, won a 2023 Contact Center Technology Award. Distributed by TMC and CUSTOMER magazine, the award winners are recognized for delivering world-class customer experiences through enterprise and outsourced contact centers.

Channel Chief


The 2023 CRN Channel Chief list honors IT channel executives who successfully advance the channel agenda with passion and experience. The Channel Chief distinction was given to not one but two Mitel leaders whose work helps the solution provider community thrive.

With such exceptional leadership and employees, we’re also pleased to announce that after a three-month judging process conducted by more than 240 professionals worldwide, Mitel won the Bronze Stevie Award for Company of the Year – Telecommunications – Large at the 2023 American Business Awards. A Stevie is one of the most coveted prizes in business, and Mitel has been honored with several awards for products, services, and company performance over the years.
