In the dynamic unified communications (UC) market, it’s important to have a provider who delivers flexible, high quality solutions – both on-site and in the cloud – with low total cost of ownership (TCO). As an experienced UC provider, Mitel understands this well, which is why Gartner named us a UC Magic Quadrant Leader for the fifth year in a row.

Mitel is also the only firm to appear in all three Gartner Magic Quadrants for Communications.*

Mitel earns high marks for flexibility

According to Gartner, “Mitel offers flexible delivery approaches for UC, with a significant installed base of solutions deployed on virtual systems.”
Mitel’s ability to avoid a one-size-fits-all approach to UC is central to the MiVoice portfolio, which addresses the needs of enterprises with MiVoice MX-ONE and those of growing and midsize businesses with MiVoice Business. Having two distinct call management platforms provides a tailored UC experience to more effectively support businesses of all sizes.

MiCollab aligns with MiVoice telephony platforms and provides one access point for our MiTeam workstream collaboration solution. As Gartner notes, MiTeam supports meeting solutions, IM, presence, unified messaging and calendar integration, allowing a host of users to collaborate at once. From project management features and document sharing to search and analytics capabilities, MiTeam allows users to work and communicate on their own terms.

Another flexible UC delivery approach is the MiCloud portfolio, which features MiCloud Flex, a multi-instance private cloud solution available globally, and MiCloud Connect, a multi-tenant public cloud solution. Mitel’s cloud offerings also include CloudLink, which enables communications applications to be consumed as cloud services, and two white-label service provider solutions: Clearspan in the United States and Telepo in Europe.

By offering a robust portfolio of diverse delivery approaches, Mitel helps make the path from today to tomorrow more seamless and enables customers to take advantage of Mitel’s continuous innovation while future-proofing their investment.

Value, Industry Expertise and Customer Success Cited as Strengths

Beyond the flexibility of the Mitel product portfolio, Gartner also recognized Mitel’s ability to meet important purchasing considerations, such as overall value and reliability.

“Consider Mitel’s key value as delivering high performance MiCollab, UC and MiVoice call management solutions for low total cost of ownership,” states Gartner’s analysis. “Mitel has reliable telephony and messaging delivery capabilities, which are offered in flexible provisioning modes.”

Garter also credited Mitel’s success in numerous industries as a major strength, specifying hospitality, healthcare, government and education. The report noted Mitel’s increased focus on customer care initiatives, promoting “positive front-end solution adoption experiences and smooth onboarding transitions,” which have contributed to Mitel’s ability to win in all industries.
