With Valentine's Day around the corner, love is in the air—but at Mitel, we believe love is more than just chocolates and roses. Love is about giving back, lending a hand, and making a difference in our communities. As we enter a new year, we’d like to spotlight the incredible ways our teams spread kindness and generosity at the end of 2024.

From restoring parks to feeding those in need, our employees worldwide share the true spirit of love through Mitel Serves. Here’s a look at how we made an impact and spread love in Q4 and the holiday season:

Clearing the Way for Visitors in Irchester Country Park

Irchester Park Mitel Serves

The Caldicot Team rolled up their sleeves to help park rangers restore overgrown areas at Irchester Country Park, a beautiful 200-acre woodland in the heart of Nene Valley. The team spent the day clearing trails, ensuring visitors could enjoy the park's natural beauty. While their muscles may have ached the next day, their hearts were full, knowing they helped create a better experience for the community.

A Meal with Meaning in Romania

In Brasov, Romania, 11 Mitel employees came together for “Dinner with Benefits,” an initiative by the Bucuria Darului Foundation. Under the guidance of Chef Mariana, the team prepared and served 55 elderly individuals a delicious meal—chicken schnitzel, mashed potatoes, peas, cabbage salad, and tiramisu. Their dedication amounted to 70 hours of volunteering, proving that a home-cooked meal and a little company can go a long way in spreading warmth and love.

Secret Santas in India

Mitel Serves India

Thanks to Team Mitel India, Christmas wishes came true in Jalahalli, a suburb of Bangalore. Partnering with Need Base India Rainbow Home, the team transformed into Secret Santas, fulfilling children's holiday wish lists with carefully chosen gifts. They delivered the presents, ensuring every child felt the season's magic. The smiles on their faces were the best gift in return!

Bringing Holiday Cheer to Romanian Villages

For 52 children in Fagaras, Mandra, and Sacele, Christmas was a little brighter thanks to Mitel Romania’s “Warming Hearths and Souls” project. The team provided clothing and shoes to needy children while donating funds for heating devices to support local families. Their commitment to community support spanned three villages, with 35 employees dedicating 30 hours of volunteer time—proving that even small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.

Donation Drive for a Cause in India

Not stopping at Secret Santa, Mitel India also participated in a donation drive with the NGO Share at Your Doorstep. Employees gathered books, toys, and clothing, ensuring that unused items found a new home with people who truly needed them. The initiative supported social organizations and promoted sustainability by giving pre-loved items a second life.

Feeding Families in the UK

Mitel Serves UK

In South Wales, Team Mitel UK focused on fighting food insecurity. Partnering with the Caldicot Food Bank, they packed and distributed over 150 food parcels, providing essential groceries and seasonal treats to families in need. Their efforts comforted those struggling during the holidays and reinforced the power of collective generosity.

Love in Action: Mitel’s Commitment to Giving Back

At Mitel, we know that love isn’t just about words—it’s about action. Whether through volunteer hours, donations, or simple acts of kindness, our teams continue to make a difference worldwide. This Valentine’s season, we celebrate the love we share through service, and we thank all our employees who participated in Mitel Serves events and honored their community commitments throughout last year. We’re looking forward to sharing more Mitel Serves stories from around the globe in 2025!
