Osborne Yuille

Founded in 1981, the majority of Osborne Yuille’s workforce is based at its head office in the Sydney suburb of Narrabeen, with staff servicing clients from six additional small office locations spread across the Sydney metropolitan and Hunter Valley regions of New South Wales. To improve business flexibility and reduce communications costs, Osborne Yuille decided to migrate to an IP communications platform. An extensive evaluation process was carried out before Mitel® was selected.

The solution is based on the Mitel Communications Director (MCD), running on Mitel 3300 IP Communications platforms implemented at the two largest offices. Another five office locations are serviced by Mitel IP handsets connecting to the larger offices via a Mitel Teleworker solution. In addition, the entire solution is tightly integrated with Osborne Yuille’s Microsoft applications using Mitel Live Business Gateway. Mitel Audio Web Conferencing is used at several offices, and Mitel® Mobile Extension has been incorporated to help simplify call handling for highly mobile employees.
