Sunova Credit Union Selects Mitel Unified Communications Solution

Working with Mitel premierPARTNER, MTS Allstream, Sunova selected the Mitel Communications Director software with feature-rich Mitel applications including Mitel Unified Communicator® (UC) Advanced and the Mitel Unified IP Client for Sun Ray™.

Deployed in the central office, the Mitel Unified IP Client for Sun Ray™ delivers virtualized voice and desktop applications to each employee, and will soon connect to the nine other Sunova locations. Once fully established the solution will combine the advanced features of a Mitel IP phone with the flexibility of a Sun Ray virtual desktop, allowing full desktop and telephony hot desking. This drives user simplicity, offers an unprecedented level of security for company-sensitive data, and reduces power consumption.

To enhance employee communications, Sunova selected Mitel's core application, UC Advanced, allowing employees to easily access all communication and collaboration tools from a single application and enabling the ability to easily manage presence and availability status. When an employee receives an incoming call, they see a pop-up window with caller information including call subject, priority, and an image of the caller. UC Advanced knowledge management capabilities also deliver instant access to details related to a caller such as recent emails and other relevant documents. These capabilities significantly increase employee productivity and improve customer service
