The resort’s communication infrastructure was outdated, with frequent malfunctions and hardware issues. System updates were no longer viable, and spare parts were hard to find. Booking and front-office applications sometimes malfunctioned and failed. The resort sought an innovative communication solution for 900 users that could integrate with their front and back-office systems while providing long-term support.

Goals

Schloss Fuschl's primary goal was to implement a modern and reliable communication system that would meet the resort's high standards while integrating seamlessly with its existing front and back-office infrastructure. They wanted to ensure system stability and high availability to support smooth operations across the resort’s extensive grounds, which include a golf club, a fishery, a museum, two luxury hotels, and much nature.

Additionally, they wanted a solution to future-proof their communication technology, reduce operational costs, and enhance the overall guest experience by providing cutting-edge communication services. Key objectives were also to improve security and ensure seamless communication for staff and guests.

Results

Schloss Fuschl successfully implemented the OpenScape 4000 IP system with their local integration partner. The solution virtualized existing hardware, integrated OpenScape Contact Center, and enhanced security through OpenScape Alarm Response (OScAR). 

The new system reduced operational costs, improved guest communication, and ensured maximum security across the resort. The hybrid solution preserved the use of existing devices while providing future-proof technology, ensuring high system stability and guest satisfaction across all areas.
