Mitel Delivers Cloud-Based Business Communications Offering for Channel Partners With MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS

ENTERPRISE CONNECT -- Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW), a global leader in business communications, today announced MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS for channel partners seeking to offer business communications solutions via the cloud. Announced at the Enterprise Connect conference in Orlando, MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS is available immediately in the United States and will be rolled out in several international markets throughout 2014. The white label Mitel solution allows channel partners to integrate the MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS services as part of their own customer offering, under their own brand.

Powered by Mitel, the solution easily connects employees, partners and customers with flexible communications channels that are designed to boost productivity and amplify collaboration. This includes phone service with business-critical voice quality; chat and telepresence as well as audio and videoconferencing capabilities. The subscription-based UCaaS model allows channel partners to offer advanced unified communications solutions to businesses.

A number of Mitel partners have already signed up to offer the wholesale Unified-Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) solution, Powered by Mitel, including Blue Violet Networks, Core Technologies, Eon Networks, Fulton Communications, JEM Communications, Qbase, Towner Communications Systems, Trans-West Network Solutions and TSI Global Companies. Early customers are already seeing benefits through cloud-based delivery.

Leading Online University Implements Leading Business Communications Solution

American College of Technology is one of the first customers of the new service, deploying the UCaaS service with Mitel partner Towner Communications Systems. Based in St. Joseph, Missouri, the online university has already seen a boost in productivity while reducing overall maintenance costs. The UCaaS model allows Towner Communications Systems to continuously upgrade services as updates and new features are available, taking American College Technology out of what can be a costly and laborious upgrade cycle, while ensuring the college has the best and most current solution.
