Mitel to Host Business Partner Conference June 1-3

Mitel (Nasdaq:MITL), a leading provider of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) software solutions, today announced it will host the Mitel Business Partner Conference taking place June 1 — 3, 2011 at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida. This event is Mitel's premier channel event that brings together business communications professionals, system integrators, and complementary technology vendors from across the Americas.

The three-day event will include access to the Mitel Solutions Expo, hands-on product demos, informative breakout sessions, customer testimonials, and featured keynote presentations from Carl Eschenbach , co-president, VMware Inc — Customer Operations, Tom Goguen , vice president of collaboration and social networking for Research In Motion, and Robert Herjavec , star of ABC's Shark Tank. Over 50 of Mitel's technology partners will also be on hand to showcase their integration with Mitel.

The 2011 event marks the largest and most exciting Mitel Americas channel conference to date. Conference attendees include a record number of Mitel channel partners ranging from value-added resellers to software providers to system integrators. At the conference, Mitel president and CEO, Rich McBee will review the company's recently announced changes to business strategy and organizational structure and how that further extends the Mitel Freedom architecture and advances Mitel channel programs in the Americas.
