Karthik Arumugam

Senior Vice President, Migrations Office

Karthik Arumugam is responsible for leading Mitel’s newly formed Migrations Office, which develops and executes cross-functional initiatives to help Mitel customers easily migrate to cloud solutions, including Mitel’s exclusive UCaaS partnership with RingCentral. He brings deep experience in strategy, business development, and product management to lead this critical new function for Mitel.

Karthik joined Mitel in 2020 to lead the company’s Product Marketing efforts and has played a key role in strategic planning efforts. Prior to joining Mitel, Karthik was Vice President of Product Management at Poly where he was responsible for Portfolio Strategy and driving changes to democratize video conferencing through new, more affordable, easy-to-deploy-and-manage solutions. He also led the formulation and execution of Poly’s strategy pivot in 2016, forging alliances with Zoom, BlueJeans and other leading cloud players. Prior to his tenure at Poly, he held a variety of leadership positions at Motorola’s Home & Networks Mobility business.

Karthik holds an issued technical patent and an MBA degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He has an M.S. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He loves to work with kids and volunteers with Junior Achievement of NorCal, AYSO, and Asha for Education.
