Executive Vice President, Customer Lifecycle Management Business Group

David Petts is a proven executive sales leader with a track record of revenue growth and operational excellence in business development organizations. He has deep experience transitioning organizations from an on-premise to SaaS model, as well as evolving businesses with efficient, repeatable, and scalable sales processes and go-to-market design leading to significant revenue and profit improvement.

David leads Mitel’s Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) Business Group and drives the strategy and operations that enable us to support the communication needs of our customers as their needs change and evolve. David joined Mitel in 2020 as SVP of Cloud Migrations where he oversaw the management of customer cloud migrations and our partnership with RingCentral.

Prior to joining Mitel, David was Chief Revenue Officer at Shutterstock where he led the evolution of enterprise sales and customer care functions and associated process, workflow, systems, and productivity to enable next-level scaling. He has held executive positions in large, multi-billion-dollar revenue companies such as HP and Nokia, and mid-sized companies such as ShoreTel. He has led sales and customer success teams selling to all customer segments ranging from complex solutions to large enterprises, to high-velocity sales to small and medium businesses. 

David holds a Bachelor of Economics and Quantitative Studies from Queen Mary College – University of London, England.
