End User Feedback Wins Mitel Nemertes Research PilotHouse Award for Unified Communications Vendor

Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL), a leading provider of unified communications software solutions, has won the Nemertes Research PilotHouse Unified Communications Vendor award in the Market Challenger category. The goal of the awards is to gauge how companies perform for business end users, and the rankings are based on input from these organizations.

Mitel was ranked highest of the unified communications vendors in the Market Challengers category, which recognizes companies on a path of growth with regard to market share and customer traction. Vendors were rated by their customers on a variety of criteria, including technology, customer service, and value. Mitel was specifically recognized for its growing portfolio of unified communications and collaboration products.

Earlier this year, Mitel placed second in the Top 25 Canadian Software Companies category of the Branham300 rankings. Additionally, the Virtual Mitel Communications Director, the first real-time voice application designed for the VMware vSphere™ 4 platform, received the Distinguished Honoree medal in the Best New Product or Service of the Year - Telecommunications category by The 2010 International Business Awards and it took the Silver in the Tech Awards Circle SMB and Enterprise Software Product category.
