Molony researches and reports on enterprise managed services providers and multinational corporate users, focusing on global deployment of voice, data, mobile and ICT networks and services. He has more than 20 years' experience in the business of telecoms, through his work as a journalist and analyst. He spent 12 years with international financial news agency Reuters followed by two years at Kagan World Media as a European media industry analyst. He was a senior reporter for industry newspaper CommunicationsWeek International for five years before becoming editor in 2000. David was editor of Total Telecom until he joined Ovum in January 2007. He has chaired and presented at conferences in Brussels, London, New York and Tokyo. For the past three years he has served as chair of judges for the World Communication Awards.
