Provision MiTeam

To provision MiTeam functionality, assign the user with a UCC Premium license through:

Users must be assigned with a bundle or role that provides a UCC Premium license and must have an active Mitel license subscription.

After you add users with UCC Premium licenses or upgrade users to UCC Premium licenses, MiTeam functionality is supported on their clients. Users will need to restart their client to activate MiTeam. Refer users to the MiTeam Reference Guide available on the Mitel Customer Documentation web site.

When you change a user's UCC Licensing bundle from Premium to another level (such as UCC Standard, Entry or Basic), MiTeam is disabled for that user.   If the bundle is changed back to Premium and the MiTeam box is checked, MiTeam service is restored and the user's content is still present.

Disable or Re-enable MiTeam

By default, MiTeam is enabled for eligible users (see MiTeam Licensing for details).

Note: If there are no MiTeam licenses available, you can assign a UCC Premium license bundle to the user but cannot enable MiTeam option.

You can choose to disable a user's MiTeam functionality to:

 

To disable or re-enable MiTeam from the MiCollab Users and Services application:

  1. Under Applications, click Users and Services.

  2. Display the user(s) in the directory.

  3. Select the user and click Edit.

  4. Click the MiCollab Client tab.

  5. Click Save.

 

Delegate MiTeam Streams

You can delegate Streams from one MiTeam user account to another MiTeam user. Streams delegation is also possible from a MiTeam disabled user (but has Streams) to another MiTeam enabled user.

Note: All the MiTeam Streams will be delegated from one user to another user. You cannot select individual Streams to delegate.

Conditions and Limitations

 

To delegate MiTeam Streams:

  1. Go to MiCollab Server Manager.

  2. Under Applications, click Users and Services.

  3. Select the user from whom the Streams are to be delegated.

  1. Under MiCollab Client, click Delegate MiTeam Streams.

  1. Select the From and To users from the dialog box, to delegate the Streams.

Note: Enter the e-mail address of the user to delegate the Streams.

  1. Click OK.

All MiTeam Streams are delegated to the To user. The delegated Streams are displayed in the Client main menu for the user.

If the user has MiTeam Streams in the Client, a warning widow is displayed when you:

Deleting a user, removing MiTeam for an user, or changing e-mail id of an user, will result in deletion of their MiTeam Streams in 30 days. To keep the Streams, you must delegate them to another user within the 30 days window.
