Accented characters from departments and locations are transliterated, if MiCollab is deployed using Flow Thorough Provisioning.
Note: Transliteration is the conversion of letters from one script to another without translating the underlying words.
Overview
The administrator must synchronize the users in Integrated Directory Service to transliterate the accented characters. During the synchronization the diacritical marks and extended characters will be rewritten.

When Flow Through Provisioning is enabled, departments and locations accented characters will be transliterated.

When Flow Through Provisioning is disabled, there is no transliteration of characters.
Note: New departments and locations will be altered to remove accented characters during SDS sharing. But any departments or locations with accented characters which were added before SDS sharing will be marked as incompatible during the sharing.
