Obtaining a valid certificate for the enterprise routing Media Service
This procedure is only required if you are running MiCC for Skype for Business.
Enterprise Servers and any Remote Servers running IVR Routing require a valid certificate for the prairieFyre Routing Media Service. Obtain this certificate before running the Enterprise Server and Remote Server installations.
Install the certificate on the same computer(s) on which you will install the prairieFyre Routing Media Service. A valid certificate authenticates the Service to your Lync Front End Server and enables communication between the two. This certificate must be requested from Windows’ Active Directory Enrollment policy.
