Managing contact information
Employees can manage contacts in Ignite. For an employee to be able to manage contacts, the administrator must update the agent security roles with the required permissions. For details on how to manage security roles, see Mitel CX Digital Installation and Deployment Guide > Configuring Security Roles for Employees to Manage Contacts.
To Add a Contact

In Ignite, click Contacts and click Add Contact.

Enter the name of the contact.

Enter the email address, phone, extension, and mobile phone number of the contact.

Click Save.
The contact is added.
To Edit a Contact

In Ignite, click Contacts and search for the contact that you want to edit.

Hover over the contact and click the edit icon.

In the Edit Contact window, update the contact details.

Click Update.
The contact is updated.
To Delete a Contact

In Ignite, click Contacts and search for an existing contact that you want to delete.

Hover over the contact and click the delete icon. A confirmation window is displayed.

Click OK.
The contact is deleted.
To Import a Contact
- In Ignite, click Contacts and then click Import Contacts.

Browse to the .CSV file from your local machine.

Click Import.
The contact is imported.
