Configuring and Using a Jabra Headset in Ignite
Follow the steps below to set up and use a Jabra headset with Ignite.

Verify Windows Audio Settings

Connect the Jabra headset to your computer.

Open Settings > System > Sound.

Under Output, confirm that the Jabra headset is listed in the Choose your output device dropdown and select the Jabra headset as the output device.

Under Input, confirm that the Jabra headset is listed in the Choose your input device dropdown and select the Jabra headset as the input device.

Select the Jabra headset in Ignite

Launch Ignite.

Go to Options > Phone.

Select the Integrated Softphone radio button. The Audio Settings options are displayed.

From the drop-down menus, select the Jabra headset for:

Audio output
-
Ringing output
-
Microphone
-
- Save the new selections and logout from Ignite.
Note:By default, Ignite uses the Windows Default audio device.

Log in with Integrated Softphone

Ensure that the Integrated Softphone option is configured with a Jabra audio device.

Log in to Ignite.

When the Log in to a phone dialog appears:

Select the Integrated Softphone option.

Click Login.

If the Jabra headset is used for the first time, you need to grant browser permission to use the Jabra headset as the microphone. You only have to do this once unless permission is revoked.
Ignite will attempt to register the WebRTC softphone with the Gateway Media Server. If successful, the phone icon in Ignite changes to green.

Grant User Consent for webHID-Compatible Jabra Devices
If the Jabra headset is used for the first time, you need to provice webHID user consent. You must provide user consent on the Jabra headset that is selected in Options > Phone > Audio Settings. You only have to do this once unless user consent is revoked.When the User Consent dialog box is displayed, you can choose how to proceed:

If you click Yes on the User Content dialog box: The HID Device Selection dialog box appears.

If you click Connect, Ignite attempts to establish a connection with the selected headset.

If you click Cancel, Ignite does not connect to the headset. In this case, audio functions will continue to work, but call control features will not be available.

If you click No or close the dialog using the X icon: Ignite will not attempt to connect to the headset. Audio functions will still be available, but call control will remain disabled.

Switching to Another Jabra Headset
If you change to a different Jabra headset, you must log out of Ignite and log back in to activate the new device.
