In general, it is always recommended to follow Proxmox VE recommendations for host server configurations, but when running MX-ONE in a virtualized environment, the minimum configuration for the standard setup is described in the item MX-ONE Guest Machine requirements.
Mitel recommends two or more virtual CPUs. If the MHz need exceeds 2500, then three virtual CPUs should be configured. If the MHz need exceeds 3500, four or five virtual CPU should be configured and so on.
Partners and customers are required to customize the default OVA setup based on the specific MX-ONE application and system size, as detailed in the MX-ONE Guest Machine requirement tables. While the VM's default disk size of 100GB cannot be altered in the OVA image, a new virtual machine can be created using the Recovery_Image-MX-ONE_7.8.sp0.hf0.rc23.iso template. This allows for disk size adjustments during the installation from the recovery image.
The default setting cannot be changed since we have delivered 120GB ssd disk. A workaround is done to use the template from the recovery image (Recovery_Image-MX-ONE_7.8.sp0.hf0.rc23.iso) to create a new virtual machine and to change the disk size to appropriate value. Install the virtual machine from the recovery image.
