Initiation from a CXN Extension

There is no user invocation of the feature. The system will detect the conditions for change-over to backup HLR or change-back to ordinary HLR. A faster change-back to ordinary HLR can be initiated by doing a standard logoff (detach), and new logon. A location registration to a location area in an operating LIM will change-over to backup HLR or change-back to ordinary HLR. Intra-LIM hand over in an operating LIM will change-over to backup HLR or change-back to ordinary HLR. If ELU31 connected to the failed server (LIM) have power will its base station transmit and CXN believe it has service. Cordless DECT extensions connected to these base stations cannot make or receive calls. MGU has a feature to block ELU31/4 boards when connection to the service node (LIM) is lost.
