Groups in Active Directory

To reflect the local Linux groups defined for MX-ONE, the following groups must be defined in the AD.

Each group has the attributes listed in the following tables.

Note:

The field Unix Attributes tab is deprecated from Windows Server 2016 and onwards. On Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2, the Unix Attributes tab might be missing if Identity Management for UNIX Components is not installed. On those servers, the Active Directory Attribute can also be modified in Attribute Editor tab, which will be visible if Advanced Features option is selected in View menu.

The following figures show the modification that can be made as per above mentioned Note.
