Definition

Basic calls consists of functions for external and internal calls. Users with any type of phone can make and receive calls. Certain phone types can make and receive calls on different lines. For example, on some digital or IP phones a second call can be accepted if the function key Free on Second Access is activated.

Procedure and function

Internal Call: The extension lifts the handset and dials the required number on receipt of the dial tone. If the extension fails to dial within a certain time (8 s) or the pause between two digits exceeds a certain time (8 s), a disconnection signal is sent.
