Procedure and function |
A virtual generic extension can be used by temporary users such as consultants who normally do not have a wired extension. The number of virtual generic extensions is related to the number of directory numbers per Server (LIM) and not to the physical number of terminals or positions. After the basic setup has been initiated for the directory number, different applications can be defined to affiliate this directory number to a terminal. |
