How to Search Across Multiple PDF

The Installing and Using documents are available only in PDF format, as they are supplementary to the MX-ONE documentation set and not migrated to HTML. They provide guidance on installing telephones, clients, terminal adapters, and converters, along with practical tips for handling telephones. For cross-document searches, use the PDF advanced search feature.

To search across multiple PDF in Adobe Acrobat/Reader, including within the content of each PDF file:
Note: The Advanced Search feature is available in Adobe Acrobat/Reader without requiring an Adobe license.

  1. Open any Adobe Acrobat/Reader PDF.

  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + F (Windows) or Command + Shift + F (Mac).

    An advanced search PDF window appears.

  3. Select the folder where you want to search the multiple PDF.

    For example, select <Home>/MiVoice_MX-ONE_CPI_Library_8.0_R3A/CPI_Docs_Other.

    (Optional) Choose filters like Whole words only or Case-sensitive.

  4. Click Search.

    The search engine will search all PDF files and their internal content within the CPI_Docs_Other folder.

  5. Click on the search result to open the respective PDF.
