Cordless phones

DECT cordless phones have to be logged into the communication system. Mitel 600 DECT and Office 135/135pro system cordless phones can be logged into several communication servers.

You can register cordless phones here as system assistant and delete the registrations.

Cordless phone registered

To register a cordless phone on the communication server, proceed as follows:

  1. In the list click the cordless phone you wish to register.

  2. Click the Register button. You are now prompted to start the login procedure on the cordless phone. With Mitel 600 DECT phones, you are given the authentication code (AC) which you must enter in the cordless phone in the next phase.

  3. Start the login procedure on the cordless phone. This depends on the phone used. You can find a detailed description of the registration procedure in the phone user's guide. The cordless phone display reads Searching...

  4. Confirm the login in the open dialogue box with OK. The status display in the Edit view reads Ready to register and the cordless phone is searched for.

  5. If after a while the communication server fails to detect the cordless phone, click the Wait... button once again.

Once the cordless phone has successfully logged on to the communication server, the status display in the Edit view changes to Registered.

Unregistering a cordless phone

To unregister a cordless phone from the communication server, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the edit view of the phone you wish unregister.

    The status display in the Edit view indicates Registered.

  2. Click the Unregister button. You are now prompted to start the unregister procedure on the cordless phone.

    The cordless phone is unregistered from the communication server.
