Editing a digital exchange connection

Lets you define and configure the selected digital exchange connection.

Maximum incoming calls / Maximum outgoing calls

No further incoming/outgoing calls are routed via this trunk group once the set limit is reached. This is signalled to the caller by means of the congestion tone. This allows you to ensure that lines remain free for outgoing/incoming calls.

Maximum simultaneous connections

Once the set limit is reached, no more connections are set up via this trunk group.

Total B channels

Shows the number of available B channels in the case of digital network interfaces.

Digital network interfaces

A digital exchange connection has one or more network interfaces of the same type.

Change exchange connection allocation

Lets you remove the network interface from the current exchange connection and allocate it to another exchange connection.

The text message behind the input field tells you whether the selected exchange connection is compatible with this network interface.

Call routing

After a first start, calls via digital trunk groups and SIP trunk groups are routed via the default routing. To route these calls via DDI numbers, create the DDI numbers in the DDI plan column in the graphical overview and link them with the digital trunk groups and SIP trunk groups respectively.

They can define the internal destinations depending on the switch position of the main switch group (switch group 1). The switch group can be used, for example, for Day, Night and Weekend switchovers with the communication server's control input. It can also be controlled with time functions, or operated manually with a phone.
