Editing the analogue exchange connection

Lets you define and configure the selected analogue exchange connection.

Call routing

Default routing: Incoming calls via this exchange connection are routed to the call destinations of the default routing.

Separate routing: Incoming calls via this exchange connection are routed to the call destinations configured here. (The configuration of the call destinations is shown if you select this option).

Call routing

They can define the internal destinations depending on the three switch positions of the main switch group (switch group 1). The switch group can be used, for example, for Day, Night and Weekend switchovers with the communication server's control input. It can also be controlled with time functions, or operated manually with a phone.

Table 2. Routing depending on switch position l

Parameter

Explanation

User group

Enter the user group No. here (not to be confused with the user group's internal call number).

If the call is not to be routed via a user group, leave the input field empty.

User

Enter here the internal call number of a user.

If the call is not to be routed directly to an internal user, leave the input field empty.

Call destination busy if user is busy

If the user is busy, busy is signalled to the caller even if the other destinations are free.

If the user is busy, the call is offered to the other destinations.

Transfer

The call is routed to the PC operator console.

Mobile/external phone integration

The call is routed to the dial-in and authentication destination for GSM users. Once he has been authenticated, the calling GSM user obtains the internal dial tone. He can then carry out specific function codes in prefix dialling or make internal/external calls.

IP remote management (SRM)

Dialling this abbreviated dialling number prompts the communication server to set up an SRM connection.

Welcome announcement (MoH)

Here you can select whether a welcome announcement is to be fed in and, if so, which one.

Table 3. Data service call destinations

Parameter

Explanation

Fax data

Use this exchange connection for incoming fax messages. All incoming calls are routed to the same call destination, i.e. the one you configured under Fax extension.

Fax extension

Select here the fax call number on which incoming fax messages are to be output.

Analogue network interfaces

An analogue exchange connection comprises one or more analogue network interfaces.

Table 4. Analogue network interfaces

Parameter

Explanation

Network interface

Interface name

Outgoing barred

This network interface is barred for outgoing calls.

Change exchange connection allocation

Lets you remove the network interface from the current exchange connection and allocate it to another exchange connection.

The text message behind the input field tells you whether the selected exchange connection is compatible with this network interface.
