Function keys

Function keys are configurable keys which you can seize with a function. A large choice of predefined functions is available. You can also write your own functions using function commands and function codes (select configurable function). The function commands are listed here:

“I”

Seize line

"H"

Seize line in hands-free mode

“X”

KT line

Table 6. KT line for MiVoice 5380 5380 IP, MiVoice 5370 / 5370\ IP, Office45/45 pro and Office35

Parameter

Explanation

Name

KT line key name

Personal line (S1, A1, ..)

If you set up a KT line key, your personal line is also stored on a configurable key. You can choose the key you want here.

Call distribution element

Connect the KT line key with the KT line you want. Each KT line belongs to a call distribution element with the KT call destination (or combinations of them)

Priority

A call distribution element with the destination KT line makes available several KT lines which are prioritised among each other. An incoming call is first presented on the KT line with priority 1. If it is busy, the call is sent to the next KT line with a lower priority level, etc. Link the KT key to a KT line with a specific priority level here and, thus, define the order of priority in which an incoming call will be offered.

Ring delay

Delay of acoustic signalling of incoming calls via this KT line key.

Melody

Ring melody for incoming calls via this KT line key.

Speed

Ring speed for incoming calls via this KT line key.

Incoming seize

Key: Take call with the line key.

Handset: Take call by lifting the handset.

Automatic hands-free: The call is automatically taken and the phone is in hands-free mode.

Incoming priority

This setting is relevant

  • if you have configured several line keys,

  • if you have chosen Handset or Automatic hands-free as seizure type, and
  • if an incoming call is signalled on several line keys.

You thus determine the line key that will be occupied if the user lifts the handset.

Outgoing barred

An outgoing call cannot be made with this KT line key.

An outgoing call can be made directly via this KT line key (without dialling the exchange access prefix) if a route has been defined in the call distribution element in the key telephone section (KT route). If this is not the case, the KT line will respond like an ordinary internal line. This means the user has to dial an exchange access prefix to be able to dial out to the public network. The route is then determined by the Route setting in the user configuration.

Outgoing seize

Key: Seize this KT line by pressing the KT line key.

Handset: Seize this KT line by lifting the handset.

Seize priority

This setting is relevant if you have configured several line keys and if you have chosen the seize type Handset or Automatic hands-free.

You thus determine the line key that will be occupied if the user lifts the handset.

Call list:

Display incoming calls on the call list.

Do not display incoming calls on the call list.

Terminating KT line

Only one line key can be connected to this KT line. Call forwarding is implemented on this key.

Several line keys can be connected to this KT line. Call forwarding is not implemented on this key.

Note:

If the parameter Allow call forwarding on terminating KT lines of the assigned user is set, the call forwarding will be executed in any case.

Locked

Key cannot be configured on the phone.

Table 7. KT line with Mitel 6700 SIP / 6800 SIP

Parameter

Explanation

Line type

Personal line: Set this line so you can receive personal calls.

KT line:When the line key is assigned to a call distribution element, the line key receives its own call number on which an external or internal call can take place. One or more phones can be connected to this KT line. Calls going out via this line key are routed via the route entered in the CDE configuration under Route.

Name

KT line key name

Line number

Priority

1...x: Select one of the x ring melodies (x depends on terminal type).

Locked

Key cannot be configured via Self Service Portal.

Busy lamp field

Table 8. Busy lamp field with Mitel 6800 SIP

Parameter

Explanation

Call number

Assign the busy lamp field key an internal call number from the list.

Name

Name of the busy lamp field key

Ring type

Silence: A call on this busy lamp field key is continuously but only optically signalled.

Single ring: a call on this busy lamp field key is signalled both optically (continuously) and acoustically (with a single ring).

Periodic ring: a call on this busy lamp field key is signalled both optically (continuously) and acoustically (with periodic ring).

A call on this busy lamp field key is only acoustically signalled after a certain period of delay. The delay can be configured with the parameter Busy lamp field: Ring with delay for each phone.

Note:

Parameter is not displayed for Call type = Idle.

Ring in call too

During a conversation, a call to this busy lamp field key is not only optically but also acoustically displayed.

Note:

Parameter is not displayed for Call type = Idle.
