Operate and administer an MiVoice Office 400 communication system with WebAdmin

You are a Telecom or IT specialist and want to commission, operate and administer a MiVoice Office 400 communication system.

Administrator interface in standard and expert mode

MiVoice Office 400 communication systems are characterised by the fact that they can be used in environments with very high telephony and communication requirements (thanks to their installation and configuration-friendly design); they can also be set up and operated quickly and economically in all situations where the configuration requirements are not as high. WebAdmin, the integrated, comprehensive web-based administration tool is the ideal administration tool for that purpose. You can use WebAdmin for simpler configurations in standard mode involving a limited configuration set; alternatively you can switch to expert mode at any time and from any view, giving you access to all the settings (requirement: you must have full administrator rights).

This means that, together with the default values specific to the sales channel, it is possible to commission and operate a system quickly and without indepth specialist knowledge.

Interface for the System Assistant

WebAdmin provides a specific interface for System Assistants so that everyday adjustments can be made quickly and easily. They include for example the management of the phone book, internal name directory, charges, and others. An important function which can only be executed as System Assistant is enabling the remote access for support providers for example.

Interface for the end user

With the Self Service Portal, the end user is provided an interface to configure its phones. Addtionally, he can print the finished labels to the keypads.

To access the Self Service Portal, the end user enters on the WebAdmin home page his user name, phone number and password for the PIN.

Interface for Hospitality

The Hospitality Manager reception application is also part of WebAdmin. It is started directly from WebAdmin and offers a multitude of reception functions. The main view shows the guest rooms and their status in a graphical representation. The Hospitality functions are administered by the Hospitality Administrator. It, too, has a specific WebAdmin interface.

Documents on the WebAdmin

The online helps for the various WebAdmin interfaces are automatically loaded from the Mitel FTP server after the system is started for the first time. The language to be loaded depends on the sales channel. Other languages can be loaded by the administrator during maintenance settings.
