Setting up the default routing

Lets you define the routing for calls for which no specific routing has been defined.

Call routing

In the default setting all calls are routed via the default routing.

To route calls made via digital exchange line circuits and SIP provider via direct dialling numbers instead, create the DDI numbers in the DDI plan column in the graphical overview and link them with the digital exchange line circuits and SIP provider respectively.

To set up a separate routing for calls made via an analogue exchange line circuit, select the Separate routing option in the configuration of the exchange line circuit and configure the call destinations there and then.

Call destinations

They can define the internal destinations depending on the switch position of the main switch group (switch group 1). The switch group can be used, for example, for Day, Night and Weekend switchovers with the communication server's control input. It can also be controlled with time functions, or operated manually with a phone.

Table 1. Internal destinations for the standard routing

Parameter

Explanation

User group

Enter the user group No. here (not to be confused with the user group's internal call number).

If the call is not to be routed via a user group, leave the input field empty.

User

Enter here the internal call number of a user.

If the call is not to be routed directly to an internal user, leave the input field empty.

Call destination busy if user is busy

If the user is busy, busy is signalled to the caller even if the other destinations are free.

If the user is busy, the call is offered to the other destinations.

Transfer

The call is routed to the PC operator console.

Welcome announcement (MoH)

Here you can select whether a welcome announcement is to be fed in and, if so, which one.
