Call charges - general

Increment of the rounding-off levels. Rounds a charge off to the next level. Example: If set to 0.1 (standard), then the charge is rounded off from 1.23 to 1.3. If set to 0.2, then the charge is rounded off from 1.23 to 1.4. |
Exchange rate |
Enter here the current exchange rate if you wish to administer the call charges in a currency other than the one used by the provider for his call charge information in digital network interfaces. |

Number of cost centre digits (dynamic allocation) |
The call charges for individual calls can also be charged to external cost centres. External cost centres must have a two to nine-digit number. They are entered in a data field of an output format and can be analysed using a call data application. |
Charge transfer |
This parameter determines whom the charges for an internal call is charged to. Situation: User A is making an outside call. After a while he hands the call over to user B.
Note:
For an operator console, all charges are always charged to User B regardless of the parameter settings. |
Charge recall standard (s) |
By activating a charge recall, user A can transfer an exchange line to an internal user B who does not have an exchange authorisation. At the end of the external call, User B has the possibility to make one or more external calls. For this he must occupy the line again before the call recall to User A takes place. Here you can set the time [0s...120s] before this call recall takes place. The call recall takes place immediately at the value 0s. The time for standard users and cabin users can be set separately (Parameter Connection in user settings). |

Digit barrier if buffer is full |
If for whatever reason the printer cannot print or the PC cannot receive data, the next calls are stored internally in the communication server. After that, the selected digit barring (e.g. emergency digit barring) becomes active. Then only the numbers enabled by the digit barring can be dialled. |
ICL number for unassigned calls |
If an incoming call cannot be assigned, it is assigned as ICL number. |
Auto attendant destination as user number |
If an incoming call is routed via Auto Attendant, the user number is recorded in a Call Data Record (CDR). For example: An external call (Caller A) is coming in and routed to an internal User B, which is forwarded to Auto Attendant (that is, Call Forwarding Unconditionally (CFU) to voice mailbox with an auto attendant profile assigned). Caller A gets the option to dial, for example: Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) 1 to be deflected to another Call Distribution Elements (CDE) with destination User C or to dial DTMF 2 to be deflected to another CDE with destination User D.

Note:
In an AIN the charge values as of which a printout is made can be adapted specifically for each node with the regional settings. Please note that the values throughout the AIN are indicated in the same currency, defined throughout the system. |

Generation frequency |
Configuration parameter to control the generation of a new CDR file. CDR file name format is "SystemName-cdr-YYYY-DD-MM.csv". Daily - if the file does not exist, a new file is generated for the current date. Monthly - if file does not exist, a new file is generated for current date. If the file already exists, the same file is used to log data for the current month. Default value is Monthly. |
Retention period (month) |
Configuration parameter to control the number of CDR files to be preserved. Default value is 1. |
Email recipient list (comma separated) |
To configure a list of emails addresses (comma separated). The recipients receive the zipped CDR as an email attachment. Note: A valid SMTP server must be configured in the PBX for this to work, under WebAdmin > Configuration > IP Network > SMTP Server.

The PC5 format is the most comprehensive PC format and is recommended for all systems upgraded with a new PC application for the acquisition and evaluation of call data. Protocol: This format is used for output on a printer. It does not contain all the data of the PC formats. Bill: This format is used to print out individual call charges as an invoice. Note:
Bill format exists only for outgoing call logging (OCL). OIP: The OIP format is used for sending call data from the communication server to the OIP server. The format is based on the PC5 format but contains additional information. |

Surcharge calculator
A surcharge can be applied to call charges using a surcharge calculator. The surcharge comprises a basic fee and fee-based surcharges.
Here you can configure up to 4 surcharge calculators, which you can then assign to the users or guest rooms via their names.

The cost curve of a surcharge calculator is defined by the basic fee and 4 cost ranges. For each of the 4 ranges the user can specify a factor with which the call charges in a cost range are multiplied.
Configuration notes:
To calculate deeper charges for a cost range, choose for the corresponding fee multiplier a value less than 1.
To stop the user from making paid calls, choose for the 1st fee multiplier the value 0 and leave the other values unchanged.
To limit the call charges to a higher value, set this value under Fee start 2 and choose the value 0 for the 2nd. fee multiplier.
To charge fee for a paid call only after a specific amount, choose for the 1st fee multiplier the value 0; fix under Fee start 2 the minimum amount for payable charges and define the surcharge with the 2nd fee multiplier.

The last 4 digits of the listed private call numbers are replaced by crosses.
Already incurred charges are charged to User A, and the next charges to User B.
