DDI plan list view
Direct dialling is used to reach internal destinations directly from the public network (ISDN or SIP). For this purpose the incoming call number is linked with a specific call destination based on its DDI element. Here you will find an overview of all available DDI numbers.
In this view you can also see whether a DDI number has been added to the DDI pool for guest rooms (this information is not available in the graphical view).
Below you can see the already created SmartDDI numbers with their matching internal numbers and a description, if defined. You can edit the conversion rule of a SmartDDI number by clicking on it.

Hospitality: Setting up Dynamic DDI allocation
To set up dynamic DDI allocation for guest rooms, proceed as follows:
First define in the view the call destination to which calls should be routed when a guest room is unoccupied (setting DDI destination after check-out).
In this view you can see in the Dynamic DDI allocation (Hospitality) column whether a DDI number is already available for dynamic DDI allocation. Click on the DDI number to open the edit window and modify the settings as required.
As soon as you allow dynamic DDI allocation, the connected call distribution element for switch position 1 is assigned the user you defined in Step 1 under DDI destination after check-out.
In USA/Canada the abbreviation DID (Direct Inward Dial) is used instead of DDI (Direct Dialling In)
