Here you will find general information on the communication server. To obtain help on how to configure the communication server, you can activate any of the available wizards in the lower part of the view.

Communication server

Type designation of the communication server.

Country

The default data is localised for the specified country.

Equipment ID (EID)

Identification number of the communication system.

Support ID

Communication server identification compared to the support. The support ID is generated on the licence server with the help of the EID and - after the first internet connection of the communication server with the licence server - entered here automatically.

Online licence check (permanent internet connection required)

(Virtual Appliance only)

To check licences the communication server regularly sends messages to the Mitel licence server, to maintain the permission for the unrestricted operating mode. Latest after 72 hours without connection, the communication server switches to restricted operating mode.

The licence linked to a satellite's EID. Under Gateway EID enter this satellite's EID. The communication server is not enabled without a Gateway EID. If the link to the satellite is cut, the communication server changes to restricted operating mode latest after 72 hours.

Note: If online licence check is enabled or disabled, a new licence code is also always required.

Channel ID (CID)

Designation of the sales channel.

Configured users

Number of configured users in the system. In brackets you find more detailed information about the type of the configured users.

User licences (used / available / total)

Overview of the used / available / total number of user licences including IP user licence bundles and UCC licence bundles.

Information about the current SWA state with further references, such as the SWA expiry date.

SWA covered users

Shows the number of users covered via SWA.

Configured users

Shows the users configured in the communication server. SWA becomes invalid if the number of configured users exceeds the number of users covered via SWA.
