Configuring a User Template for Unify Phone

User templates simplify onboarding by predefining settings and automatically assigning Unify Phone licenses to new users.

To create or update a template for Unify Phone:
  1. Go to User Management > Templates.
  2. Select an existing template or click + Add Template.
  3. In the Phones section, click + Add Phone.
  4. From the list, select Desk Phone, and then click Add.
  5. Click the gear icon next to the newly added or existing phone.
  6. From the device types, select Unify Phone.
  7. Click Done.
  8. Provide other user template details as needed.
  9. Click Save.

Users created from this template automatically receive a Unify Phone license, provided licenses are available in the tenant.
